"They carry a burden far too heavy for their age."
HELP US LIFT THIS BURDEN FROM THEIR SHOULDERS.
Let’s all take action together by reaching out to children who are victims of abuse and suffer in silence, and offer them,
within the European Union, a future filled with hope.
YOUR SUPPORT, THEIR LIGHT
How can you directly support a child who is a victim of abuse?

I raise awareness
By speaking about it with those around you — your loved ones, your colleagues, your trusted circles — you break the taboo and pave the way for prevention, for open dialogue, and for the protection of the most vulnerable.
Spread the word about the association Dessine-moi un sourire — its concrete actions, its testimonies, and its awareness tools. Every informed person can become a messenger, a source of support, a listening ear.
These children live through unspeakable suffering — they need our voices to one day find their own.
What you say today could save a child tomorrow. Horror often hides behind closed doors, in the secrecy of homes, behind forced smiles. But silence kills, while speaking out saves. Never underestimate the power of a conversation, a shared post, or a single word that makes someone think.
To raise awareness is to plant seeds of vigilance, compassion, and courage.
To speak is to act. To share is to protect.

I share on my social media
I share, because every post can open eyes, spark thought, and raise awareness.
By sharing banners from the association Dessine-moi un sourire on my social media — Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, WhatsApp, Messenger — I become part of a vital awareness chain. Abuse of very young children is a silent and devastating scourge that must be exposed to be fought.
With just one click, you can help spread the association’s message, inform those around you, and encourage collective awareness.
But Dessine-moi un sourire is not just about awareness.
It’s a concrete commitment to helping young victims rebuild themselves, regain trust, dignity, and hope.
By sharing, you help bring essential actions to light.
The more we share, the more we spread the message: childhood must be protected, not destroyed.

I create my fundraiser
I create my fundraiser, because every action matters, and everyone can become a force for change.
You don’t need vast resources to do a lot of good — just a bit of heart and a touch of creativity.
Organize a dance night, a spaghetti dinner, a solidarity breakfast, a bake sale, or a bingo evening in your neighborhood or school. Set up a yard sale, a pétanque tournament, a sponsored walk, a raffle, or offer workshops (cooking, yoga, drawing…) with a pay-what-you-can system.
You can also sell a product available on the Dessine-moi un sourire website and donate the profits to the association.
Every euro raised helps Dessine-moi un sourire continue its concrete actions for children who are victims of abuse: awareness campaigns, support, and healing programs. These small fundraisers can change many lives.
So go for it — create your event and spread hope around you.
Important: Any initiative or event organized in support of the association must be submitted in advance to the Dessine-moi un sourire team for approval.
To do so, please fill out the form in the “Contact” section of our website.

I make an online donation
I make an online donation, because everyone can take action in their own way, giving according to their means. You should never feel embarrassed by the amount you give, no matter how small — on the contrary, you should feel proud of this gesture. Even a small donation is a powerful act of solidarity, one that can have a real impact by providing direct support to children who are victims of abuse, helping them rebuild their lives.
It’s the intention that matters, and together, these acts of generosity allow “Dessine-moi un sourire” to carry out its essential work.
Thanks to our approval by the Belgian Federal Public Service of Finance (SPF Finances), any donation of €40 or more qualifies for a 45% tax deduction. A tax certificate will be issued by the association during the year following your donation.
⚠️ Important: to issue this certificate, you must provide your national identification number via the online donation form. Without this information, unfortunately, we will not be able to issue the tax document.
Dessine-moi un sourire is fully committed to transparency: Over 90% of all funds received go directly to our work in raising awareness, supporting, and helping children recover from abuse. Less than 10% covers operational costs, managed with rigor and responsibility.
Together, through your generosity, we bring a breath of hope to those who have endured the unspeakable and survived the unimaginable.

I make a bequest in my will
You are thinking about your estate and what you want — and are able — to do with it.
Because even after your passing, you want your life to continue to carry meaning.
For those you love, of course — but not only them.
A will is a way to address these questions.
It is much more than a lifeless document stating what should happen to your assets:
a will is also a reflection of everything that mattered in your life.
You can include causes that are close to your heart, causes that need you — like the non-profit Dessine-moi un sourire, for example.
You’d like to help, but aren’t sure what’s possible or how to go about it.
Writing a will might feel intimidating.
Or maybe you’d simply like to know how to do things properly, so that you can be sure your money will go exactly where you intend it to go.
