After months of reflection, meticulous preparation, and tireless effort, we were overjoyed to take a decisive step: the official creation of our association, “Dessine-moi un sourire”.

It was at the registry of the Charleroi court that we went that day, carried by emotion and a deep conviction that our project was finally coming to life. By filing the association’s statutes, we gave tangible shape to a vision long in the making: to provide help, comfort, and support to children who are victims of abuse.

This step did not happen by chance. It is the result of sincere commitment and a shared desire to take meaningful action for a vital cause. Every signed document, every exchange with the authorities, represented far more than a formality — it was the fulfillment of a collective dream and the beginning of a profoundly meaningful human journey.

Today, “Dessine-moi un sourire” is ready to carry out its mission in the field, with a clear purpose: to offer children the appropriate resources they need to rebuild themselves, in a caring and respectful environment.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all those who supported us in this first step. Thanks to you, a new chapter is beginning.

(*) Olivier Droesbeke, co-founder of the association, serves as Honorary President. His personal story and his determination to break the silence surrounding abuse lie at the heart of our founding values. Driven by a deep desire to support child victims, he played a key role in the creation of “Dessine-moi un sourire”. Although his health now greatly limits his direct involvement, he remains a guiding figure and a constant source of inspiration for our entire team.
